Health Insurance for You and Your Agency Staff

You are eligible to apply for coverage to begin the first of any month with any of the carriers and your rate will be good
for one year from the effective date.  For each of the carriers, you have the option to select two different plans for your company.  This allows small businesses the same flexibility usually reserved for large companies.  Clicking on the carrier below will provide you with the benefit outlines for that carrier's programs.  Since rates vary by region and group size, we

CDPHP

CDPHP Plans are available in 24 counties of eastern and central New York.  Those counties include:  Albany, Broome, Chenango, Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Essex, Fulton, Greene, Hamilton, Herkimer, Madison, Montgomery, Oneida, Orange, Otsego, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Tioga, Ulster, Warren and Washington.  These plans are very cost effective.  Plans offered for sole proprietors are the same as offered for groups with employees with a rate differential for sole proprietors.

Emblem Health plans are available in all 62 counties in New York with rates varying according to the county of your business location.  Plan designs and rates offered for groups with employees differ from those offered to sole proprietors.  Highlights include, no copay for dependent children and students for office or specialist visits whether sick or well, over one million
in-network providers nationally and $0 copay for generic medications.

Participating Agency Program

Referral Agency Program

Since health insurance is usually the largest insurance expense for your clients, leaving that need to be satisfied by your competition may make the business you have with that client more vulnerable.  If the competition is able to satisfy the
client's largest insurance expense, they are more apt to be receptive to changing more of their business to that competitor.
